Y. Bhg. Datuk Dr Yeo Boon Hai, Independent and Non-Executive Director
Director-General, Kota Kinabalu City Hall
Datuk Dr Yeo was born in Sabah in 1956. He completed his degree from University of London in 1979. Upon moving back to his native Malaysia he began his public service career with the Government.
He is currently the Director-General of Kota Kinabalu City Hall. In 1995, he was named the Outstanding Young Malaysian by Junior Chamber International Malaysia. In 2010, the Government recognised his 30 years of excellence in service by presenting him with the title of Commander of the Order of Kinabalu.
Before being appointed as Director-General of DBKK, Datuk Dr Yeo was the President of Sandakan Municipal Council and Principal Assistant Director of Public Services Department (JPA) of Malaysia.
Prof. Dr. Fred Y F Chin, Managing Director and Chairman

Prof. Dr. Fred Chin is an Incorporated Engineer registered with Engineering Council of United Kingdom. He is also a fellow member of Taxation Institute of Australia, Institute of Public Accountants Australia, Institute of Financial Accountants UK, Society of Operations Engineers UK, Institute of Plant Engineers UK, Association of International Accountants UK and member of Chartered Institute of Marketing UK.
At present, Prof. Chin sits on the directors’ board of 5 limited companies in Malaysia and Hong Kong, involved in education business, professional training and event management. Prof. Chin was also the former President of Institute of Commercial & Industrial Accountants, Malaysia which is the 4th and last Accountancy body to be registered in Malaysia under the Societies Act 1966.
Prof. Dr. Paul Ang, Director of Academic Board

Prof. Dr. Paul is a Chartered Tax Practitioner and Chartered Company Secretary in practice for more than 15 years. As principal partners for both ASC Tax Consultants PLT (a government approved Tax Agents) and ASC Farissa & Associates PLT (Company Secretaries & Management Consultants), he advises clients on a broad range of services in the areas of Company Law, Tax Advisory and Business Consultancy.
Prof. Paul is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia, as well as the Association of International Accountants (AIA), United Kingdom. He is also member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Company Secretaries (MICCS). In addition, he holds an MBA in finance from the Southern Luzon State University, Republic of Philippines and a DBA from the Geneva Business School, European University, Switzerland.
Prof. Dr. Elaine Kong, Director of Professional Development

Prof. Dr. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Analysis, an MBA in Human Resource Development and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA). Due to her interest in training and development, in 1996 she became a certified Workplace Trainer and CBTE Curriculum Designer and Developer (Australia).
For the last 16 years she has focused on human capital development and talent management. Prof. Dr. Elaine aims to provide learning support and coaching which integrates language, communication, professional and life skills in relevant job functions.
Prof. Elaine’s first business, established in 1993, was one of the pioneer companies to offer local marketing consultancy services to international educational organisations and professional bodies such as LCCI Examinations Board, NCC Education, Trinity Examinations Board, Institute of IT Training and the Institute of Financial Accountants.
Alan Chong Lip Vui is a Certified Commercial & Industrial Accountants in Malaysia and member of Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia. Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting from University of Tasmania, Australia, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Alan is a member of Golden Key International Honour Society by achieving top graduate in Faculty of Business, The University of Tasmania.
He was appointed as Director of Business Development in 2007 with the responsibility to develop the marketing operation and business development of Pine Academy Group in Malaysia and South East Asia region.
Associate Professor Vincci Chan, Director of Quality Control

Prof. Vincci holds a Master of Commerce in Accounting (University of New South Wales, Australia) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (University of Auckland, New Zealand).
Over the last 10 years, Prof. Vincci has worked in both accounting and finance industries in Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand before she moved to Sabah in 2006.
Prof. Vincci was appointed as Dean of Business School in 2009 with responsibilities in the academic operation and management of Pine Academy Group in Malaysia. In 2011, Prof. Vincci was promoted as the Director of Quality Control of the education group, overseeing the academic quality control of all learning centres.
